Jaarbeurs Utrecht

The Jaarbeurs is the venue for this years’ FIG Working Week 2021.

Jaarbeurs, before 2015 also known as Jaarbeurs Utrecht, welcomes each year different type of events, fairs, meetings and congresses. Jaarbeurs receives approximately 2.1 million visitors annually on a site with an area of 100,000 square meters. The buildings are located opposite Utrecht Central Station and the Hoog Catharijne shopping center on the Jaarbeursplein. Jaarbeurs is located in a part of Utrecht that is known for its interesting historical sites.

How to get to the Jaarbeurs

There are serveral ways to get from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) to Jaarbeurs Utrecht by train, taxi, car or even bike.

From Schiphol to Jaarbeurs

There is a direct train departing from Schiphol Airport and arriving at Utrecht Centraal. Services depart every 20 minutes, and operate every day. The journey takes approximately 29 min. The distance between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) and Jaarbeurs Utrecht is 34 km. The road distance is 45 km.

By train

Jaarbeurs is situated right next to Utrecht central station and is therefore easily accessible by train. From the station, follow the signs 'Jaarbeursplein'; the Beatrixgebouw and the Jaarbeurs complex are only a few minutes on foot.  Plan your journey by public transport. On the website of the Dutch railways, NS, you can easily buy e-tickets for your train journey.

By bus

The bus station is situated next to the central train station. Buses to and from all directions arrive and depart throughout the day. By car

By car If you come by car, from the Ring Utrecht, follow the blue ANWB signs for 'Jaarbeurs'. Jaarbeurs has over 4,300 private parking spaces spread over P1 to P4 that are open 24/7. You will receive a parking ticket when you drive in. This allows you to pay at the parking machines on site upon departure.

Another good parking tip is Park & Ride: These are easy-to-find and inexpensive parking facilities on the outskirts of the city with a shuttle service into town. Park & Ride facilities can also be found at various stations close to Utrecht .
