The selected hotels are in easy walking distance to the conference centre CTICC - Cape Town International Convention Centre - a premier conference and event venue located in the heart of Cape Town.

When will bookings close?

Direct hotel bookings will stay open until the hotels are fully booked or the room types have been fully booked. Available rooms are very limited.

Will the payment go off immediately?

Yes, for direct hotel bookings.

What do I do if I just want to book the room directly with the hotel and pay immediately?

You will not receive the preferred congress rate. However, you are booking directly with the hotel and will be required to pay immediately.

What do I do if I just want to book the room/group booking but pay at a later stage?

Unfortunately this cannot be done on the book direct system.

Can I change a booking?

Can I cancel a booking?

Will there be a cancellation fee if I cancel my booking?

Can I arrange a late check-out?

How far is the conference centre from the hotel?

All the hotels selected are within easy walking distance of the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Therefore, there is no need for hotel shuttles services. This is part of the sustainability programme of the FIG Congress.

How far is the conference centre from the airport?

The CTICC is 20 km from the airport.

Do you have an airport shuttle service?

FIG2026 will negotiate preferential rates for Congress delegates/exhibitors closer to the Congress. See airport transfers page.

Can I leave my luggage at the hotel?

Luggage may be left at the hotel subject to front desk approval.
