Dear Colleagues and Friends,

FIG and Geospatial Council of Australia, GCA, are encouraging you to register now for the FIG Working Week 2025 to be held in Brisbane, Australia 6-10 April 2025. The conference days are 7-9 April. Various pre-events are held on 5-6 April, and the FIG General Assembly for FIG members on 6 and 10 April. An interesting full-day technical tour can be booked both on Saturday 5 or Friday 11 April which is recommendable to get to know the area better.

The FIG Working Week will be held alongside the national event Locate25 which will give a unique opportunity for the international and national surveying, geospatial, valuation and related professions to team up, connect, learn and collaborate.

Exciting technical programme

This event will feature over 80 technical sessions, interactive workshops, and a comprehensive exhibition, showcasing the latest advancements in geospatial technology. The theme is Collaboration, Innovation, and Resilience: Championing a Digital Generation. In recent years, transformative forces have required the industry to redefine how it delivers value while advancing sustainability.

FIG Working Week 2025 + Locate25 will therefore include multi-disciplinary sessions across all ten FIG technical commissions, task forces, networks, and permanent institutions. The Conference will address foundational issues related to the Political, Economic, Social, and Technological trends shaping our future. We encourage submissions of cross-disciplinary nature that reflect the evolving landscape of the sector.

Pre-events, technical tours and social programme

As part of the Working Week various pre-events are offered before the actual conference starts. It is possible to attend a tour as well to get acquainted with the Queenland area. During the conference days afternoon technical tours are offered and do not miss the conference dinners.

Showcase your company and products

The booths for the exhibition are selling out fast. Ensure your visibility at the exhibition with a booth where you can meet with participants from all over the world. You can increase your visibility by adding a sponsorship.
