Consultant to support the work on land in the Arab States

n the past two years, GLTN has been expanding its work in the Arab States. The key aspects of the GLTN work in the Arab region include land governance, capacity development, knowledge management, regional cooperation, support to land projects implementation at country level and land sector coordination. In the context of the above, short, medium and long term activities are to be implemented in the region.

The Nairobi-based consultancy will be for an initial period of 6 months with possibility of extension.

CALL FOR EXPERESSIONS OF INTEREST

Call for Expressions of Interest in undertaking a study on Conflict in the context of large scale land acquisitions. The primary objective of the Study is to analyze how land based investments contribute to conflict, violent conflict and social destabilization in selected countries and provide recommendations on how to prevent, mitigate and address such risks in the short, medium and long term.
