The first speaker at the plenary session was Franco Maggio, Director, Agenzia del Territorio. Bruno Razza (left) was the co-chair of the session. The second Italian speaker was Maurizio Gasparri, past Minister of Communications and Head of PDL political party

The international plenary speaker in the first session was Prof. Orhan Altan, President of ISPRS who spoke about disaster risk management and the role of geo-professionals.

President Fausto Savoldi was co-chairing the second plenary session together with President Teo.

President Karl-Friedrich Thöne, DVW Germany discussed in his presentation the challenges that environmental issues require from surveyors and national associations.
