FIG General Assembly shall in at its assembly in 2026 elect a new President and two new Vice Presidents for the term 2027-2030. The actual General Assembly day in which the candidates will present themselves to the General Assembly will be held on 24 May 2026 in Cape Town South Africa. Election will take place between 24 and 29 May and the result will be revealed at the General Assembly session on 29 May.

FIG Council has received two nominations for the position as FIG President for the term 2027-2030 and six nominations for the two positions as FIG Vice President.
