Global FIG - Real Estate Market Transparency Research  Survey

December 2023

Help us and fill in this survey

In this electoral term (2023 - 2026), FIG Commission 9 has set itself the goal of contributing to the improvement of transparency in the property markets.

"Transparency" is a nice word, but what exactly does it mean? What does it really mean? How seriously is this word taken by decision-makers and how is transparency perceived by the public?

As a first step, we would like to explore these questions and survey experts to get an idea of the state of transparency in local property markets and where - from a global perspective - differences can be seen.

We do this within a research-partnership with the University of the West of England, Bristol (UK), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the European Group of Valuers´ Associations (TEGOVA)  and the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC).

Please circulate the survey as widely as possible within your organization, your country and your national and international networks.

If you would like to be informed about the results of the survey, please leave your e-mail address at the end of the survey.

Help us to improve transparency in the property markets and come back to me if you have any questions!

Thank you very much!

Chair of tFIG - Commission 9 “Valuation and the Management of Real Estate”
